Python Job: Systems Engineer - Microsoft Server - Exchange

Systems Engineer - Microsoft Server / Exchange - This is a long term contract opportunity requiring profound Microsoft Server and Exchange Engineer knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Supporting the company in implementing, maintaining and operating different Microsoft Infrastructure technologies
• Being responsible for the contribution of the definition and delivery of services, supporting different automation and transformation projects across a diverse technology stack, focusing on Microsoft products
• Implementing, supporting and maintaining core Windows Server infrastructure services including but not limited to security hardening, automated deployment, patching and lifecycle management
• Ensuring the implementation, support and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online Hybrid environment
• Implementing and maintaining other core infrastructure services as required

Your experience/knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge in building, configuring and maintaining Microsoft based solutions
• Proficiency in using Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 as well as of Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 and Microsoft Exchange Online EXO
• Familiarity with Directory Services including ADDS and AAD along with know-how of Active Directory, GPOs and Azure Directory Sync and Health services
• Deep knowledge in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python as well as knowledge of Windows and Azure security features and experience in operating system hardening
• Experience of automating common tasks using Ansible Playbooks, Microsoft Windows, ServiceNow, VMWare
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
